TODAY WE HAD THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY REINACTMENT OF THE TROLLEY RUN BETWEEN YAKIMA AND SELAH, WASHINGTON. Yakima Valley Trolleys (YVT) - Home IF ALL GOES WELL I HOPE TO GET A RIDE THIS WEEKEND.

trolley line needed a little help in pulling this trip off, very low lifes stole the wire to run the trolley. Had to make do with a generator hooked to the back of the trolley to provide power.TROLLY 166.jpg

WOW -- that's a beautiful car and a great photograph! Clerestory roof, tall windows, two axles, trolley poles and all -- you just have to smile. Yes, "low life" well describes the metal thieves. Next time I hope justice is served when they grab a live wire.

I was at my usual spot when this one arrived and ended up stopping. So I drove about a mile down and waited for it. I wanted more of a side shot, but with the 70-200 the second was the best I could do. I should have switched to the 18-35 while I was waiting, live and learn :)
