I'm no wee lad any more - but still watch for cabooses when I can - they are rare but if you look you might see one now and then. Those new FRED's are just no fun at all.

Sitting out the winter before it's last run as a dinner car tour train in Wellsboro, Pa. It is sitting north about 40 miles in NY State.

Was passing through Columbia, SC today and saw only light engine moves (aka locomotives with no cars), but it was worth a stop and it was nice to get some fresh air. In the top photo, that's Columbia Union Station to the rear of the trailing locomotive. No passenger trains call there, but happily it survives as a restaurant.

Northern Alberta Railway caboose on display in Westlock Alberta, north of Edmonton. Drove by the other day and pulled out the D610 for a few quick shots.
