That’s awfully kind of you to say, Peter, but I don’t deserve it, far from it! Many thanks to you anyway! :giggle: Now, I am into sound quality almost as much as I am into image quality, and it pains me to see all the young ones today listening to their “MP3” music and thinking the sound they’re hearing in those little ear pods is good. They have no clue what they’re missing. I grew up in the world of high fidelity, the DIN 45500 standard, and witnessed the advent of digital compact discs. Ah, that first Frankie Goes to Hollywood album, Welcome to the Pleasuredome! What a revelation! In that world, Studer, Revox, McIntosh, Teac, James B. Lansing, Elipson were household names... Below is a photo of my Swiss-made Revox B77 Mark II reel-to-reel tape deck. I still use it, not everyday, but very regularly. Nikon D850, Micro-Nikkor 105mm, ƒ/2.8 macro lens. Gitzo tripod, Arca-Swiss Cube C1 geared head. Natural light.
