Go for it, I am also considering starting a 365 thing next year also. Maybe all from the end of my dock! ... hmmm? Like this one taken 30-Nov-2012 while sitting in a wheelchair. :D

Believe it or not the sun does still rise here every morning. Some mornings, like today, there was some color. Some mornings, like today, I chose to simply enjoy the color changes while sipping my coffee instead of traipsing out in slippers when it is only 17 degrees out yonder. I am selfish that way sometimes with the blue, red,salmon and purple colored sky

Dave, I am amazed at how long my battery lasts in the 5100... I also do not always have a spare with me on a normal day... Maybe a "lesson learned"

I'm using a battery grip on my D90, that way I always have a spare battery with me. I usually put the right battery on the charger when it gets down to about a 50% charge (the left battery is still @ 100%) and I have by then taken almost 250 photos. Which at that rate, would be 1000 shots with both batteries. Very satisfactory results I thinkl!
