Nah, I was raised on an Indiana farm and probably have an old recipe tucked way somewhere. I just hope you do not indulge in hummingbird tongues like the ancient Romans.

We own a couple of acres of land on an island is central FL. One Christmas we were up there camping. One of our neighbors invited us over for drinks. He had eight squirrels soaking in a milk bath in the frig. Don't think I'll ever forget the sight of all their little feet up in the air. Don't know what we would have done if he invited us for dinner.

You would have just had to swear you were a vegetarian. I did that one a long time ago when offered some possum.

Well, a fellow once asked me why, if I was such a good shot, that I never went hunting? To which I replied, that to the best of my knowledge, no state of the Union had ever declared an open season on Black Angus steers.
