Thanks Paul. We are fortunate to have a park in Eastbourne with an abundance of fairly tame squirrels. These were taken with my D3100 and a 55-200VR lens, oh, and lots of peanuts!

We have this very cute little "albino" squirrel who hangs around our back yard. I named it "whitey" in honor of that jackass Al Sharpton. I put a tin pan full of corn kernels and nuts on the back porch for it and the other squirrels so they stay out of our bird feeders. Albino squirrels are not that rare her in FL, I see them fairly frequently. This one is actually not a true albino because it has black eyes not red ones. This one is pretty tame, I have fed it out of my hand.

Great shots, looks like you were pretty close.

Thank you.

I've worked out where they are in the park, so with a little patience, I just lean on a near by tree, then move closer bit by bit, and they kind of get use to you, I was about 15 foot away, and they was just running around in front of me.

lesson learnt today, check iso, I had the camera in manual mode, with the iso at 200, should have been about 400, as I had to do a bit of adjustment in lightroom., but pleased with how they turned out.
