Messua limbata v californicus (I think)

I am now reliably informed by Lenny the Spider Guy (registered trademark) that my spider is a Oxyopes salticus or striped lynx. I have lots of green lynx about, but this is a new one.

The Maevia Inclemens (per my best guess after about an hour of Google identification)

1st, a juvenile male that I found in the house a couple of weeks ago...

Then an adult female I spotted outside while grilling today...

Just guessing on the gender based on whether or not the palp was more bulbous or not. Somebody might come in and correct it all. Anyway... SPIDERS!

This little jumper wouldn't come out and pose for me, so I stuck my bald head into the bushes and got what I could. Isn't he CUTE!?
