Found this little guy on the screen outside the window. Had a heck of a time trying to focus.

I am always trying to find different creatures. I tend to find the same ones, now that I have done macro for several years. But, the other day I found a spider that I haven't seen before.

I suppose all of us, as kids, amused ourselves by pulling legs off spiders, especially Daddylonglegs. However, since I've taken up macro-photography, I'm amazed at the number of spiders and insects I find that are missing legs.

Edit: As usual, this was taken with an 18-55mm kit lens but mounted on a 36mm macro ring.

Here is the tiniest spider I've ever tried to photograph! Two versions of two photos of the same critter! I had to shoot this guy hand held since my tripod wouldn't go low enough!
