Todays Lynx spider, was too windy to get a decent photo.

Opened up a hose reel to do a bit of repair and found a very wet brown widow and a pair of egg sacks

Spotted this one running on the ground. I am assuming it is some variation of wolf spider.

Hi! Just got back after some time away due to a number of reasons (mild winter meant no birds on my bird table, slow and horrible death of my laptop and problems logging in here with my new one). Spring is now here and the place is teeming with small creatures. This is a photo from yesterday.

Thanks, Mike. It's a stack of 9 photos and it's taken with my 40mm + a 20mm macro tube. Great little guy didn't move at all even though the lens was just an inch away.

Came across this tiny guy a couple of hours ago. Body 3mm long.

Edit: it seems this is an Araniella cucurbitina - a Cucumber Green Orb Spider.
