I'll make the first move to post a picture. It's the river at my grandparents village, Erithropotamos, meaning Red River.

My river shot for ya. I shot this with my kit 18-55mm now I am going to go back and shoot it with my new Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and see the differences. Can't wait!

Sorry, Circular Polarizers reduce reflected light among other things. One of the many uses is to enhance definition in flowing water. Note on the image below, the water in the top portion actually has ridges which reflections usually hide
