GET YOUR SHUTTER SPEED WAY UP, AT 1000MM+ SHUTTER SPEED SHOULD BE 1600 OR HIGHER. SOME READING ON FOCAL LENGTH AND SHUTTER SPD.Here some from a birder trip. I was unprepared and brought a monopod for my camera (D7100 w/ 600mm f/5.6 and 1.6 tc ). I had the iso low and was getting shake (way over 1000mm effective focal length). It was a 3 mile hike so I left the 180mm f/2.8 in the car. Had I brought it the owl and redtail pics would have been perfect. The harrier was about 1000 yards off and I was shooting handheld so they are bad.
