Lol. If you look behind Dell, you can tell what happened. I had pushed his cat tree to that area so he would jump to my kitchen island. But I didn't secure the tree down, so when he jumped forwards he simultaneously thrust the tree backwards. That whole "for every action an opposite reaction", y'know. You can see the tree is toppling over into my Le Creuset cabinet. So he didn't get the trajectory or distance he expected, and...boom! Short.

Claws or no claws, it was a tragedy that began on the lift pad
