I think the girl in orange is going for a real closeup of a TriColor Heron.

This has to be a two part photo so you can see what is happening. My wife's cousin wanted a photo of the three of us (Her, my wife and me) and was going to do it with her phone. No, that was not going to happen. I had my D750, travel tripod and my iPhone. Took a couple of minutes to set up and took the shot. Make one slight miscalculation of where my hand was.

What size shell does that thing fire? it looks like you could take a whole tree out with it.

I'd swear it was bowing his monopod. I have seen them a few times before and they always come loaded for bear -- four 810 bodies between them and at least three or four lenses. I tried to give them some spot tips for hummers, but I'm not sure they understood me.

I am surprised the wildlife has not gone into hiding.

Here's one from Old Havana taken with my J5 and the kit 10-30mm lens. I'm really pleased with this camera. Great for travel and street photography.

Not sure of the reason for the plastic bag. It was bright and sunny, but only around 70 degrees.
