My girlfriend and I went out to the local botanical gardens for the day, she took the heftier of the two cameras and people were commenting on how it was almost as big as she was. And our friend Ron who's an established nature photographer toting a D3s/D200

Lake Wichita here in Wichita Falls, TX wasn't more than a big puddle as of 4 days ago. We had some heavy rains in the past few days and filled it back up in a hurry. We are currently in a stage 4 and was about to go to stage 5 drought. A lot of people were out checking out how much the lake was filled up. Found a couple of people taking pictures.
