OK - what is the story here?

This was the largest demonstration by photographers in London, UK, against the police wrongfully using anti terrorist laws to hassle photographers. At that time, a few years back, this was endemic. The demonstration took place at Trafalgar Square, in London, and was attended by thousands of amateur and professional photographers.

Another from the demonstration, showing photographers Grant Smith and Jess Hurd being interviewed by the BBC for the evening news.

Now that is too cool. Amazing

Not the "eye of a tiger" but rather "the Eye of a Toad"

Of course you totally planned to get that shot and worked out in advance the exact camera settings to make that happen ..... :friendly_wink:

Oh yeah this was no fluke. Was listening to eye of the tiger a few weeks ago and thought "the Eye of a Toad", that would make a good shot. Its not like I just happened to come across a toad and was just shooting with a fully manual lens and just hoping for the best, only to notice my reflection later or anything. No, no, nothing like that at all

Not quite yet. Getting close though. Every year they group up in this area trying to get in the swamp on the other side of the road. Which is impossible for them to do.

On Friday 17th April 2015 the Randolph Hotel, located in Oxford's city centre, suffered from a serious fire. The fire is reported to have spread from the ground floor kitchens through an elevator shaft to upper levels then to the roof. Here during Saturday afternoon the damage to the roof was being assessed and photographed. Access to the roof area was via a truck mounted hydraulic platform.
