Great shots with the f/1.8

It is certainly sharp at f/2.2 and f/4 .

At f/1.8 it seems a little bit soft on the shots you posted.

I only have the one lens right now and I am looking to add a faster prime so would value your input.

It is actually very sharp at f1.8 at the focal point. I was very close to the minimum focal distance so the focus plane was very tight.

This is where this system really shines, it was so nice walking around with a 5 oz. 1.8 prime! So far I've only used the 2 pro zooms, while much smaller than Fx ones they are still little tanks!

A bunch from around Watkins Glen, Didn't have my ND filter with me for the second falls shot. I also forgot my remote shutter release so I downloaded the Oly app and it worked great triggering with my phone!

Cant wait for the Version 4 firmware release next month for EM5 Mk11

Came across this link that shows what can be achieved using focus bracketing using the E-M10 II which already has the capability.


OMD E-M10II

These images are game changing for macro shots.

This is supposed to be our lawn but there is more moss than grass.
Plus new things seem to appear regularly. :rolleyes:

The in body image stabilisation is amazing these are all hand held.
