I was out chillin' in my hammock this morning with Dell, when I noticed an oak leaf stuck to the top of my golf net. But something was odd about it. I got up and looked, then went inside and grabbed my camera....
I know they're not the greatest pics, but the sucker was a couple of feet over my head and I was stretching as far as I could. These pictures don't do it justice. It looked a lot more impressive in real life. Any know what species, btw? My eyes glazed over going down the list of moths native to New Jersey.
After that excitement, it was back to the hammock.
