I've neglected my gear with non-use for over 18 months now. And it shows! I went on a guided Bald Eagle excursion in Florida, where I saw about 40 eagles and even more ospreys, and came away without one shot worth keeping.
A quick trip to the Florida Museum in Gainesville let me ease back into it with some more receptive subjects. That is, as long as they were alighted on a perch. I still don't have what it takes to shoot butterflies in flight in crowded conditions.
