I finally get to shoot a different butterfly at Wako and I can't find it in either of my two pamphlets

It looks like a Black Demon skipper, but it would be very, very far from its home in India. Did you get a look at the underside?

For some reason I always struggle to get sharp shots of butterflies with my 70-300 Tammy, they generally look softer than an equivalent shot of a bird and I don't know why. Perhaps its just harder to get precise focus on them?
In any case this is a rare shot that I am happy with. A Monarch I believe in The Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.

I think it's a Queen Butterfly with all of those white dots.
