Succumbing to vanity, I have assumed you meant this for me; thank you, it means a good deal to me, though the 'expert' makes me blanch a bit.
Yes it was meant for you.. I am amazed at the detail you are able to capture. Don't know if you use a tripod or they are hand held but you get the focus spot on and achieve great depth of field. Keep up the good work.

Well said wornish..........I've said it before too, wev has serious skills.......either that or he has a room full of stuffed birds and dead insects that he props up for each shot LOL:)

LMAO! What I want to know is how much stuffing do you put in a humming bird? Can't be much. Hell, if you look real close I think you can see the pin hole where the moth was stuck to a board before the shoot LOL

Thank once more. I do use a tripod. As for the rest, I find the less I think, the better I shoot.

Truth be told, not much. The real bother is the articulated skeleton and servo set-up. The German ones are way expensive, but you just can't get the "in flight" right if you skimp.

As for the bugs, I do work in a hort department where we teach applied entomology -- got shelves full of specimens. . .

Dead or alive, you capture your subjects phenomenally.
