This time I was using my new Tamron 150-600. This was the first time I had shot the moon with it.

Nice, looks really good man. I want a telephoto lens so I can do stuff like this, but astrophotography isn't really something I do often so idk if I'd want to spend the money on it just so I could take like 5 pictures lol.

This lens actually has quite a few good uses. I love bird and wildlife photos so this is needed for that. I also go to the zoo and shoot often and our zoo uses lots of open plains for the animals so the long lens works good for that. The moon shot is just a good secondary use. I used to use my 70-300 for the moon and was pretty happy with it.

This lens actually has quite a few good uses. I love bird and wildlife photos so this is needed for that. Good to know, I may have to look in to that. I mainly do night sky shots and automotive stuff, so the closer range lenses are good for me, but I'm always looking to try new stuff. Thanks for the info bud.
