Post your Moon Shots

I have a fascination with Moon shots and you can imagine how gutted I was a few nights ago when I set my alarm for 3:30am to get up and shoot the eclipse only to find it very foggy. I could see the moon, which at least was a bonus, but no chance of any detail in photo.

Last night however, was a very clear night and thought it the perfect opportunity to try out the 300mm f/2.8 with a TC-20e III. I've not really had the chance to try the 2x since I bought it and didn't know what to expect. The answer as below shows, is outstanding! I wasn't expecting this much detail in the craters! I stopped down to f/11 which seems to work quite well.

Haven't taken a moon in quite some time and am out of practice. Fairly clear tonight with the wind, but still a touch of haze

Santa Ana's blowing all day, so pretty clear for once. This is before sunset, so will try again in a few hours.
