Post your Moon Shots

After screwing around with the Tamron 28-300 and never seeming to get a shot in focus, I tried the Nikon 18-105 and seemed to get a better (albeit smaller) result.

After a few cloudy nights, it was clear last night and the full moon was out.
taken with my Nikon D3200, with the tamron 70-300mm lens, iso at 100, aperture 5.6 and shutter speed at 1/320.
And with a little bit of editing with lightroom 5

Very good shot for hand held. Captured a lot of detail.

What I did, was lean against the garden shed, and used a wired remote shutter release, that way I can really steady the camera, hold the camera body with my right hand, rest the lens on my left arm, and use my left hand to trigger the remote shutter,

Tripods can make all the difference on moon shots. But your method certainly worked.
