Well done again [MENTION=9753]Scott Murray[/MENTION]. How close is your lens to the ants you shoot? Anyone know the size of an ant's eye when the ant is just 3mm long? Holy cripes.

I am slowly regaining strength in my hand and my back aches less after longer periods of shooting.

Well done again @Scott Murray. How close is your lens to the ants you shoot? Anyone know the size of an ant's eye when the ant is just 3mm long? Holy cripes.

I am probably about 1.5cm from the ant at a guess at 2:1 ratio. Will need to measure the distance in the near future.

Saw this beauty crawling up the patio table leg when I went in to pour a glass of beer. When I came back with the beer and my camera, having been interrupted by a couple of phone calls, I found it already started on its big journey
