Macro with the Raynox DCR 250 on the end of my 70-300mm VR.

1st, just for perspective, the bloom in the macro shot actually sitting on an American dime.

Uncropped, except to get to a 4x5 (8x10) format instead of the 4x6 native. Shot outside before I brought it in for the perspective shot (and before I mowed).

Very cool result! Out of interesting how far from the flower were you to get this shot at 300mm with the Raynox?

Couldn't tell ya for sure, as I was more worried about focus.... about a foot? Maybe a little less.

I was about to put my 90 away after shooting some documentary pics of a new silver spoon and decided to take a few snaps first. This is the double flower on an adenanthus; each is about a 1/4" tall
