Testing the limits of post cropping and blowing up. The finished shot is 3.5k*2.6k and I pulled that out of this original:

It was a pretty sharp shot at almost 1:1 and the light was good. Besides that nothing special. I cropped what I needed, blew that again to 200% in PS and then sharpened. Before I adjusted high lights and shadows to pull the detail out. Often when lowering one of them or both, you see the details pop up better. Contrast adjustments help too at times.
