Nice work, did you use two layers or more ?

Well the first picture was just me shooting handheld. The second one I setup a tripod and rail system and shot about 20-30 pics all about 5mm increments. But truthfully when I processed it I ended up using only 4 or 5 pics/layers for that final product. It's not quite what I wanted as a finished product but that result was far better than using all 20-30 pics. It's almost as if using all the pics in layers gives a greater chance that Adobe will mess up the blend.

I have found the same issue with too many layers, the blending messes up.
Not sure what version of Photoshop you are using but the latest version CC 2014.1 has a bug in the layer blending that Adobe have acknowledged.
This doesn't affect all users but I have a mac and have had to go back a version and wait for the next release for the fix.

This was a pretty hard shot at 1:1. It's not the kind of angle that makes things easy during bad conditions.

And if something seems strange, it is. This guy is a veteran and lost two limbs during some battle.

Ahhh thanks. I'm using CC2014 on Windows and Mac. I haven't updated to 2014.1 yet.

A dull drudgery sort of day with little time to play. At least you can always count on a fly to happen by

I decided to not drink my coffee and go out first. Time is limited when you want the special effects nature provides.
