I couldnt get the shots I wanted using my ring flash, so I went back to using the onboard flash, and a "Scott Murray" special diffuser, I still get some reflection, mainly in the eyes, but its a lot better than I was getting before.

​I have just ordered a Yongnuo 568 flash, when I get that I will have to relearn my macro shots I guess.
