I am really interested in this. I've already learned more about my camera in the two days I've been signed up here than the previous few months of ownership. The bug photo's are cool but I collect vintage watches and would like to be able to get better macro shots. A couple I took, which I suppose are O.K. for not knowing what I am doing yet.

What happens if I install a 2x converter on a 105 micro lens? Not only I can bet a bug close, but the thousands eyes of a fly for example?

You will get reduced quality, need more light, sure you will get more reach (210mm) One of the biggest things for eyes is sharp focus and light (good diffused flash).

hi all, went for a walk in the garden on saturday and found this little fight happening. the spider ended up going off Im guessign to let his toxins work and a very drugged cranefly in the end managed to get off the web and fly off
