Ok, do not have a macro lens yet but did pick up a set of close-up filters to use to play around with until I decide if and what macro I want..
Here is a couple I took today... 35mm f/1.8 with stacked +10,4 & 2. All were taken at 1/200, f/5.6 with a manual remote flash off camera pointed at ceiling.

I got a new bridge cut for my cello. Played around with a bit of Photoshop CS2 in this picture, constructive criticism is welcome! I'm happy with it

Nice picture. I would like it maybe a tad brighter so see more of that beautiful bird's eye maple.
