Thanks for the compliments guys! I just finished writing a short blog post about shooting damselflies - you can read it here. I've also included a video of me picking up a damselfly. Sorry for the bad quality of the video. Didn't have any other way of recording it, besides my Ricoh GRDIII. :-(

I will take my 10-30mm kit zoom next time and shoot a better quality video.

Fascinating! Thanks for sharing, can't wait to try it out on the resident dragonfly in our yard. (The damselflies we get are much tinier than the one in your video, and way too skittish).

These are also skittish, but as I've said in my blog post, it's all a matter of how you approach them.
