Not a bad deal. Have you tried it all out yet? How long does a charge last using the lights?
Sadly, I just ordered everything and nothing has arrived yet.. :(

From what I've read a fully charged 550 battery (2200 mAh) will get you a little over an hour at full output, while the 750's (4400 mAh) are good for a little over two.

Been wanting to get one of these for a while. I am going to wait to get a full report from you along with example photos before I pull the trigger.

Not exactly a purchase - Lensbaby sent me a free set of Aperture Disks when I bought that set of refurbished optics that did not come with their original disks. Great customer service.

Well the '360 will be here today but the batteries won't be here until later in the week. I have two shoots lined up with a dancer, though; one scheduled for the 14th and the other on the 29th and I anticipate using the '360 for both. I'll be sure to let you know what my experience with it is. For a while I was actually tempted to get two of them because I have this specific effect in my head that (in my mind's eye at least) should be mind-blowing but... I reigned myself in and only got the one for now. If the 360 is as well built as their flash units I'll be a happy camper.

I purchased a new to me camera this last week. Got here today. A dear friend sold me a D700 with two D lenses, 50mm 1.8 and a 24mm 1.8, along with all the necessaries to start shooting. It came today and if the weather breaks I will be trying it our a bit. Not the best staging, but it will do. I am excited to play with the full frame camera a bit.

Dont have a pic yet but I have been looking to upgrade my Sigma 24-70 2.8 since I got the D500, It works great ... when it wants to work, I have to keep taking it on and off the camera until it decides it wants to start autofocusing and I cant be dealing with that, especially at a wedding !

So I put out a call for a sale of mine for around £400 and a friend of mine is happy to do a swap plus £350 for the Nikon as he doesntl have time to get out and shoot much more!!

ABSOLUTE steal so going to pick up up later from London :D

The problem with your Sigma lens might be happening because of needing new firmware installed. I think Jake sent some of his Sigma lenses in for that when he had issues. But...your solution sounds like a win-win!

That could well be the case... However I was getting annoyed with the lack of sharpness at 2.8 compared to the Nikon (I have been spoilt by having a friend that I can use his gear as and when and he has one).

So when this deal came up I couldn't say no.

Plus I couldn't really wait to have it shipped to them and back. However I have the Sigma 70-200 and its doing the same thing every now and then so may have to send that back soon ...

Here she is on my D500 !!

Any updates yet? I'm very interested in this as well. But I'm waiting for your opinion of it first. I feel I can base my purchase on your advice.

I know there's a couple posters here at least at least interested in the YN-360 so I'm going to try and post a new thread with a decent review later today now that I've had some time to play with it; there's a fair amount to cover.

I bought a strap for my D700, and after a couple of years hearing Horoscope Fish rave about Joby straps every time the question came up I decided to give it a try, and I have to admit that I like it. It took me a little while to figure it out, but now that I am comfortable with it I do like the way it works.

It's true, I love my Joby... In fact I'm going to go hug mine, right now!

Glad you're liking yours. :)
