Off work for a week, back in work on the 5th of October, so I thought I would have a little try with cheap a Nikon 1 ft-1 adaptor £8.50.

I could not believe the size of the box it came in.

You can never have enough packing.

Well this will test your manual focussing skills and how steady your hand is !

Now that I'm dunking sheet film, my measly pair of stainless steel film clips is woefully inadequate, and using chip clips from the kitchen drawer was only a temporary fix. Arrived this afternoon, 6 pair of clips.... 6 regular and 6 weighted.

I got one of these because I got curious. After a few short days I have to say that I still prefer the rendering and especially the bokeh of my Nikon AFS 35/1.4G, but the cheap Siggy is not far behind. And I dislike with a passion the USB Docky thingy that has become a necessity.

But after all I'm on the fence whether to sell the Nikkor and pocket the difference. Too early to say quite yet. The Siggy is not bad, not bad at all, but not pure bliss either.
