As they say, me no understandy:D but i clicked like
I have this surround system...

onkyo_ht_s9700thx_7_1_channel_network_a_v_receiver_speaker_1119309.jpg
so I bought that speaker stand set for the 4 speakers that go on the side and rear to keep them off the floor and at seated head level, since I don't have walls that
are close enough to mount them on.

Well my Neewer brand D4 battery charger finally arrived and my new batteries are being charged! I would have liked to buy an OEM battery charger, but right now I just couldn't manage the $300+ the Nikon brand ones cost! This one as is cost about $100!

Now I'm just waiting for the battery packs to charge so I can try it out in my D800e! :)

WTF??

The MH-26 charger is almost $500 at Nikon?? $310 at B&H ????
The D4S EN-EL18 battery is $220??? How is this so much different than most other Nikon DSLR camera batteries?[h=1][/h]Insanity.

I paid $100 a piece for the batteries and $100 for the charger and $30 for the battery cover! :)
The batteries are twice the size of my D800 batteries, the battery cover can be left on the battery even during charging, and the charger charges two batteries at the same time!
With this being said buddy I don't know why the cost started off so high, and fairly high at the price I paid! But I think my batteries are grey market and maybe the covers are too, I just don't know or care much since my D800e would be considered grey market too being from Australia! Lol :D

Likely my friend most of the cost is due to being "D4" gear! Lol :)

REminds me of buying GM parts for an old Corvette I had. Just because it fit a Corvette, the price had a premium :(
ex. Exhaust manifold bolt = $10 in 1999. Bastages.

My Lensbaby 5.8 Fisheye arrived today

Here it is mounted on my D610. It is a fully manual lens. I never shoot manual - now I guess I need to learn.

My first shot - in the parking lot of the post office.

These two give you an idea of the sharpness - or lack thereof.
Keep in mind my mediocre manual skills this may have far more to do with technique than the lens.
AND of course the obligatory silly pet picture everyone takes with their fisheye.

One more book on PCC: http://amazon.com/gp/product/1491947195/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had a comparable book to go with PS Elements 6 and found it to be very informative. This one on PCC has an entire chapter on vectors which I'd like to learn more about.

Plus I bought a couple more of Tamrac's N45 straps. They come in either black or brown, but Tamrac recently discontinued the black one. Fortunately I was able to find the black one on Amazon...so I bought both colors. :)

Back again ...

I got some extra dollars for my birthday and added to my photo fund!
My gift from my brother and sister ..
Not 1 but 2 Yongnuo 560 iv lights. I have also ordered a Yongnuo 560 TX which is coming from China.
Why 2 lights? Because I want to shoot off camera flash and together with the TX (transmitter) both can be controlled from the camera.

And I also bought a "shoot through" umbrella and a tripod mount for it and a flash.
I'm almost good to go - bring on the models.
