Found this for sale on another forum for the princely sum of $7.50:

AFAIK, they're no longer made but still quite easy to find. I was wondering if it was useful, so I figured for lunch money, what the he11.

Got a magnifying eyepiece for my Df. At last, combined with the split-screen focusing glass makes it a lot easier for manual focusing.

I ordered a blu-ray writer for the famous M-Discs. Those writers are cheap. Not so much the insurance for my gear I informed about; about 1k yearly. If I'll pay that, I better make sure they'll pay me most back in some years.

I finally got around to getting a bookcase to place my gear rather than having it scattered about the house. ;)

Except for the Bigmos on the upper left it's all my Pentax gear from over the years. I did take the shot with a D700 though. ;)

Have yet to receive these items, will arrive this coming week. The cpu in this laptop (5th generation i3 w/HD 5500 graphics) has a tdp (thermal design power) of 15W. After swapping the low power demand ssd (under 2W), battery life should be very good. All night long with ControlMyNikon shooting the heavens. $430 total, delivered. The original spinner will go into a sata III usb case that just happens to be sitting right here, for storage.

My wife didn't like the white plasticy drawer thing I bought just a month or so ago. She bought an antique sideboard. Not sure what to do with it. It has now become the photography credenza. It was built sometime between 1910 and 1939 - company sticker is still legible and that's when they operated in Owen Sound Ontario Canada.

It came with removable trays (I assume for dishes or something?) but these are now where I store my lenses.

Well my Neewer brand D4 battery charger finally arrived and my new batteries are being charged! I would have liked to buy an OEM battery charger, but right now I just couldn't manage the $300+ the Nikon brand ones cost! This one as is cost about $100!

Now I'm just waiting for the battery packs to charge so I can try it out in my D800e! :)
