If you noticed, that bag of towels was half gone. She has another full bag that's about to be opened and used. I think I'm gonna become a mummy.

Scored a 250mm/4.5 for BA (My nickname for my RB67). $120 shipped! Arrived an hour ago.
Other than a well-worn front lens cap, and a slightly loose rear cap, this copy is in perfect condition. The barrel has no wear marks, a bit of dust and some minor nicks. The glass is absolutely pristine, both front and rear. A small fingerprint smudge on the rear was easily removed with a cloth and lens fluid.
Slower shutter speeds sound right. Will need to get the timer out to test the faster ones. But mechanically and optically, this lens appears to be in superb shape!

It hurts when i remember what we had to pay for this type of gear all those years ago,enjoy it

Got me one of those a few months back - some don't like the push-pull focus but I think it is kinda quaint. I like mine - let us know what you think.
I've had push/pull zooms before on film cameras. I don't mind them. I got this one in hopes of it filling my gap on a macro lenses until I can afford better. My 40mm micro is great, just need something a tad bit longer.

my thinking exactly. I have an old Siggy 100-300 but have not been all that happy with it thought this might be a bit better and the price was worth the try. I really want to get one in the 150-500/600 range but don't have a grand sitting in my pocket I don't know what to do with. It's on the "to get someday" list but there are several other priority items ahead of it. In the meantime this will get me a little closer.
