Here is my latest purchase.... Not a photo item... but it will get me some photo locations~!!!
Garmin ZUMO 660LM, motorcycle specific GPS... (works in Car too but water proof, shock resistant etc...
These are EXPENSIVE! I have never owned the ZUMO series, just could not justify the cost... You would think they were made out of gold!
A friend had access to several Garmin Employee discounts which came it at 45% off... I decided to take advantage of the once a year opportunity and the CFO (The Wife) approved it... We are gonna call it part of my Xmas gift!!

Thanks! That's what I wanted to use it for. I'm always having to move stuff around to take pictures of watches, glassware and such.

I had a Garmin Quest back when I was still riding. That too was expensive but worked great.
A couple weeks ago, Staples had a special for 16x20s at five bucks.
I took a thumb drive in of 20 images, and they said there was a limit of 2. So I looked at the ad, and their web site, and there was no limit posted. Nor had they printed a correction. So I told 'em I want all 20 printed. They screwed two up, and missed a third. The other day, I finally got the last 3 finished.
It's not too often I print so many large photos of my own, for me, at once.
The twenty I printed are:

I use my own tripod... the lights are not that bright so depending on lens etc, you may have a slower shutter.. I am on a tripod and do not worry. They have come out good. Have been photoing wifes over 200 piece figurine collection... once all is set... it is just put a piece in, remote release the shutter and swap and repeat!

Good to know. I'll be busy taking pictures of my watches, shot glasses, pewter items, etc.
I fiddled up mine in the irrigation aisle at Home Depot -- they were most amused. Since I also shoot flower and leaf pictures in the college nursery and in the field, I made 18", 24", and 36" legs that have leveling screws on the bottom. The steel rods (scrap from the welding shop) pop out for hanging the sets of curtains that I sewed up in three different weights of shower drape. All in all, around $20 and an hour's time.
