Dang Scott! Congrats. You must post info and thoughts on this when you get to use it. With that lenses no wildlife will have a moments privacy now.

Lowepro top load camera bag. Perfect fit for my D3100, without the battery grip. I just remembered most public places won't allow packs inside buildings. Plus, I like it!

Here are two of my latest purchases.

Finally got my 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. I got the 18-70mm a few weeks ago but didn't bother taking a pic then.

Sure can tell the difference in IQ between the 18-70mm and the 50mm prime. Each lens shot was taken with the other lens listed. The 50mm is just sweetness at nearly wide open!

As some of you know my Mom died earlier this month and I inherited all of the old photos and there are a lot of them. I originally had started scanning them with my flatbed scanner and it did a good job but it was extremely time consuming. So I started doing some research to see if there was something out there that could do the job faster. This is what I came up with and bought.

Air Copy - Wireless Scanner for Tablets, Smartphones, and Computers - ION Audio - Technology made simple: app accessories, portable audio, and more

So far it is fast and pretty easy to operate. Also it will be easy to carry with me while visiting relatives and it will scan to my iPhone of which I can later transfer to my computer. Small and lightweight. Battery operated or USB powered and charged.

I just bough a Rapid Sling Sport, a diffuser for my SB600, a new screen cover for my D7000 and a Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4.0 within the last few weeks. I have been wanting this lens for a good while now and I am really glad to finally have it.
