Well, I finally can post something here. Ha!

A Rocket Blower (Large), to see how it compared with the off brand I already had.
Two Samsung 32GB SDHC memory cards 90MBS for the other new purchase
A couple of Lenspens to add to the one I already had. They work so well for everything ie camera lens, binoculars...
And last but not least a D7100 Refurb, yea right! :D

The Giottos brand is really good. Some blowers will suck in dust and blow it out the nozzles, but Giottos are not supposed to do that. I own both the Giottos large and medium sizes. The small doesn't have much oomph when it is squeezed.

Enjoy your D7100. It's a terrific camera! :)

My D800 has only had an 85mm reach...... until a minute ago.

I just ordered the Nikon 200-500/5.6 telephoto from Cameta Camera.

It is Christmas, you know. Well pretty close to Christmas. OK, I just bought it cuz I wanted it.

Everything (except for the partial recall) I've read is very positive. I hope it turns out that way.

I also put an ad on Craigslist for a "lens bearer" to help me carry the D800/200-500 combo. And, I'm starting to lift weights tomorrow. Or the next day.....

If it ever stops raining, I'll get out for some sample photos (Marilynne, I'll be meeting you at Green Cay.)

Not sure if this counts as a 'purchase', but heck.... it's photo related!

When I got my Shen Hao 4x5, it came with a focus cloth. However, even with the elastic stretched to its limit, it barely made it around the camera. So, with a little bit of matching cloth ('costume satin'), some hook-n-loop and black thread, I made a short extension for it.

Now, I don't have to struggle to set up the focus cloth on the camera. In fact, it's got enough give all the way around I don't even need to undo the velcro... I just slip it over the back. I put the 'extension' at the bottom since I'm going to be sticking my fat head in from that direction anyway!

Well Mike, I guess I'm trying to expand my horizons. I have, primarily, been a wide angle fan..... The wider the better. I'm hoping this lens will open more photo ops to keep me busy. At least I hope so. :)

I got one of the first ones shipped. I'm not a long lens guy (until now) and had a D7000 in addition to my FX bodies. I had to upgrade to a D7200 as a 1.5x teleconverter (no light loss) to get me extra reach with comparable IQ. Now, @750mm, f/5.6, I'm in the long lens business!

I'm calling dibs. If you don't like it, you have to give me first shot at taking it off your hands at a substantial discount.;)

I bought five more of the older version of this CF card holder that holds 4 cards per case, and a SD card holder that holds 12 cards! These Pelican cases are awesome! At least the older model is! Bought before the hotwater tank issue!

My latest acquisition... This 5TB drive will replace a 500GB slave that's all but full on my primary PC. Once I installed, the old drive will probably get installed in the girlfriend's computer, assuming Dell hasn't butchered the mobo, locked down the ports etc.

I bought two of these at 5.95 each. Original cost 19.95 each. When I saw the quality of these I went to order a couple more for friends. Sorry, deal is over!
