Really dull overcast day here. Went for a hike up to a high point in Cheshire called The Cloud.

Here is a panorama shot of the view looking North and East. On a good day this would be a fantastic view but today its a bit washed out.
I will be back though when the blue skies return.

The image is 14000px wide so it loses a lot on the forum you can see the full size on My Flickr link below.

I can see it would make a great panorama with the sun out much more contrast.

When focusing on something in the distance how to do you keep the foreground in focus? I was trying to take a picture of something sitting in the middle of a field using the 55-200 and the background and object were in focus but foreground kept coming out blurry. Could that be because the field was made up of small flowers? I tried aperture priority mode and setting just the aperture from large to small and nothing worked. I tried different focal lengths, focus points etc.

You cannot have it all in focus. Even with focusing to infinity something is going to be out of focus. That is why people are doing that "focus stacking" thing.
