Looking at the shutter speed, I'm impressed. Especially the last one; 1/60th makes me scratch my head. ;)

No need to scratch your head, the answer is simple. Each shot was taken with on board flash. So in effect the shutter speed was over 1/5000, freezing the action.

I had read the "flash" trick in an article on photographing humming birds. The author used multiple high speed, high power strobes to "Freeze" action. Of course it was an elaborate affair, with bait and multiple triggers, but I took the spirit and implemented it with what I have.

All these are cropped 1:1 to 800x800 pixels. Taken without flash but in bright sunlight at 6fps.
