spotted a pretty ruby this morning, but it stayed hidden in the shadows because of the pushy little rufous guarding the duranta. I took a mess of pics, but had to really work to get anything near passable.

Given that this was shot in dark shadow, through a bush, and no time to change settings, I'm pretty pleased with how well the Tam did.

I had a lot of fun with these in a Facebook birding group. "Where's Waldo" type photos. It became very apparent that some people need glasses.

Before anyone says anything about Spruce Needle Casting Disease, I know.
