Thanks, Mike. The kids are getting busy now that the flowers are starting to bloom in earnest. This little Anna snuck in while our resident rufous was busy chasing away an interloper -- gotta be quick, if you want your dinner.

Damn @wev you've got the Hummingbird photog down to a science. All great shots! Love post #421!

I have a problem with them taking off after they show up and I mount the camera to get the shot, just the slight slow movement of me bringing up the camera seems to scare them off. :( I can't exactly keep the Tamzooka mounted to my eye either, talk about serious arm fatigue, lol.

Well don't let on that I told you, but @wev has a whole drawer full of stuffed hummingbirds that he just poses and wires onto branches to achieve any look he wants. Some are even little robots that appear to fly. I.m with you, if i even glance their way they zip off. But remember mums the word. Lose lips sink ships.
