Apologies if posted in wrong thread...didn't find a "Glob" section.

Saw these gross-looking, gelatinous, wet globs on the shore of Missouri's Truman Lake. First time I have seen these here.

We have had lots of rain in the last month or so, and Truman Lake level is very high, and as it goes down some, I am guessing these were left on the shore. The largest in the photo is about 8 inches in length.
