I live on a River and when we get fog we cannot see 2 feet in front of us, waste of time trying to get a snap, it just be all white!

I live on a river also and know what you're saying, some days it's so foggy seeing 2 feet would be a stretch!
Thankfully those days are few and far between.

This was a low level ground fog (maybe 8 feet tall ) coming in from the fields to the left. Photo was shot while still darkish at 6:15am.

This mornings Foggy shots, downtown Jacksonville, FL. 14-Nov-2012. Visibility was down to about 1/2 mile.
