Humble thistle re-imagined a bit in LR/PS
D810; 2016:09:19; 1/250; f/8.0; ExpComp 0.00; 105mm (AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor f2.8 IF-ED); ISO 400 for 1o3 and 2o3, and ISO 250 for 3o3.

This one worked - but for many of my deep red flower shots I just cannot get the detail.
I do process these in Corel - and adjusting the 'sigma contrast" and other corrections can help - a lot.
But what's up with red flowers?

I find that for me, red roses are the hardest to nail. For some reason the color just never looks right. I probably need a more expensive setup, like a 50,0000 dollar Hasselblad and 3 sexy assistants to haul the lighting crap around.:encouragement:
