I went exploring a wooded area behind a cemetery in the middle of farmland, Indiana on my lunch break, yesterday.
Thursday evening I went in with only my phone, and the results made me determined to return with my real camera.
Now I want to come back again, with my tripod...

These are shy little flowers.



Very pretty, understated.





Note the Redbud tree in the background.

A favorite of the big carpenter bees. It is a lovely flower we are trying our best to eradicate from the department garden -- been five years and it's still there.
