In certain lighting conditions my D610 will heavily saturate bold color flowers. To the point I need to tone it down in post. The indigo's, deep reds, and some yellows are the main culprits.

Never had it long enough to be sure but i was deeveloping the opinion the D300 would over saturate some colors

Thats an interesting look, what did you do to it? ( if thats not top secret)

The rose actually had some of the texture on it but I used Intensify to bring it out more. Its a great little app and you can try it for free. I also added the white vignette.

Happens with my D3300 and 35mmF1.8. The reds are nearly 1EV brighter on the histogram.
