I am informed that I have become something of a slacker while repainting the kitchen, so I declared break and went off to the arb to stretch my legs and eyes.

The aristilochia gigantea, about 12" wide and 18" tall

They run the gamut from pure white through yellow, orange, red, purple, brown, to a rare near black. A number of species are multicolored. Some are scentless and some will knock you over.

I like the smelly ones. The honeysuckle here are in full flower and i love to drive with my windows down in areas where it thrives.

These red ones are quite fragrant and grow wild alongside the main road that goes alongside our beaches, which is where I grabbed this one. The flowers had not opened yet on this one.

I have noticed the Tamron is truer to color than the 55-200 kit, which always pushed to the blue side.
