Cool and very cloudy today but I went up to Olinda in our Dandenong Ranges to visit our National Rhododendron Gardens. Spectacular at this time of year. They grow well in the cool, damp mountain area. Most of these are Rhododendrons apart from the red Waratah, a magnolia and a very unusual cream and green flower. If anyone knows what this is, I'd be grateful to hear about it. 40mm Nikkor lens for the close ups. A Tokina AT-X Pro DX 11-16mm F2.8 for the landscapes and the Nikkor 18-200 for the others. Funny you should make that comment as I did use focus stacking of 5 shots to get a better depth of field on the flowers while leaving the background blurred.
